The Scientific Library of the PAAS and the PAS in Cracow is available for people over 18 yrs. To become a member you need to apply for a library card.
To receive it, you need to visit the Main Reading Room Mon-Fri 8:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. There you will be asked to fill the application form, present an ID with photo, and pay the entry fee 10 PLN.
Library card is valid for a year. To renew the card, you need to show it in the Reading Room and pay 5 PLN of yearly fee.
The card can be used only by a recipient. If the card is lost or damaged, please inform the Library.
To consult the Special and Graphic Collections, the members have to fill the additional application form specifying the purpose of your consultation. From Readers without tenure we will request the letter of recommendation (from your tutor, institution where you are affiliated, or your employer).
