Please note the following updated Rules and Regulations of the Scientific Library of the PAAS and the PAS in Cracow, which shall enter into force on 5th December 2022, regarding:

1. Collection Sharing,
2. Sharing of Special Collections,
3. Sharing of Graphic Collection.
 
The said Rules and Regulations are available in the "About the Library" tab. All library users are requested to examine the above mentioned documents.

Please notice the updated Rules for Collection Sharing during the Pandemic. The Library remains open from Monday to Friday, 8 A.M.-3 P.M. and sanitary rules should be followed. On the occasion of the 130th aniversary of Henryk Bukowski’s donation of rare books on the culture history we publish digitised version of this bequest’s catalogue.

The Scientific Library of the PAAS and the PAS in Cracow has updated its „Conditions of Use”. New rules are valid from 1 June 2018.

In 2017 the Scientific Library of the PAAS and the PAS in Cracow has received a grant in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage’s programme Cultural Heritage - Support for museum activities to finance a publication of catalogue of the 16th-century ornamental prints from the PAAS Print Room.

 

The Scientific Library of the PAAS and the PAS in Cracow offers you access to the biggest full-text database of Polish academic publications. Regularly updated ACADEMICA provides readers with hundreds of thousands of articles, monographs, textbooks and scripts.

Since January 2016 we have discontinued cataloguing new acquisitions to the card catalogue.

If you wish to find a periodical or a monograph published in series, the card catalogue is still relevant.
